The Friends of River Hook will be hosting two creative events on Saturday and Sunday of Upstate Art Weekend. The events will be held at the River Hook Preserve, 611 N. Midland Avenue, Upper Nyack, NY.

Flash Sketch Mob, July 19 at 10:00

The Flash Sketch Mob will be a collective landscape portrait making session guided by Bill Batson. Bring your chair and art supplies and set up at an assigned spot along the River Hook Preserve path. Your resulting artwork will be displayed during the poetry event the following day. Registration is required and a small fee:

• $15 per person
• $10 for community partners
• Scholarships available upon request at: friendsofriverhook@gmail.com
